Giclée Print: Victoria and Albert inspiration
Giclée Print: Victoria and Albert inspiration
Giclée print of needlepoint tapestry, image approximately 40 square plus a few mms of I worked canvas selvedge, then approx 8cms white paper. This gives you the option to mount flush to the tapestry image, or to allow the selvedge to show.
Inspiration came from the Victoria and Albert museum, when I simply wandered this way and that, hoping my subconscious would absorb some inspiration from the treasures displayed. And so it was, that I became interested in the idea of mosaic and ultimately, it was the flooring in the room that houses the Raphael Cartoons that did it for me!
